Oddicombe Beach is located at the bottom of red sandstone cliffs, and can be accessed either by the cliff railway or steep steps which are well worth the effort. Oddicombe Beach is a shingle beach with facilities for many water sports, including sailing, paddleboat's, and pedallo hire. There is also a slipway. In addition it offers beach huts, deck chair hire, a cafe/restaurant, disabled visitors' facilities, lost child centre, first aid and promenade. Babbacombe is a delightful small beach set beneath the cliffs at Babbacombe Downs and is operated by a private company.

The promenade on Babbacombe Downs is known as the highest in England and has spectacular views. An interesting place to explore with rock pools, cliffs and walks. The beach is popular with local families and holiday makers, diving groups and fishing enthusiasts. It is also a favoured haven for weekend sailors.

The Royal Carvery offers a wide selection from its daily menu with views over Lyme Bay. The Babbacombe Inn is also located on The Downs and has a bar with restaurant and live music and entertainments appear on selected dates. Babbacombe Theatre is renowned for wowing audiences with their highly acclaimed shows.
